You can use 2nd Edition’s office address for your business mail purposes for small monthly fee of $40. 

How creative is your imagination? 2nd Edition Coworking could be home to almost any type of business. Our space is perfect for technology experts and developers, creative writers, photographers, designers, financial advisors, and the list goes on. Everybody is welcome!

Our agreements range from 1 month to 3-month contacts. (updated as of 2024)

If you are a Hot Desk or Dedicated Desk member, you will sign a 1-month agreement before starting. You are required to provide us with 1 month notice when you are planning to leave.

If you are a private office member, you will be required to sign a 3-month agreement and if you are planning to end your membership, we require three months notice.

While we are not a ‘business incubator”, an important function is to allow your business to grow and flourish at your own pace.

This means that if your sole proprietor business starts to employ staff it’s possible for you to stay on and utilize our facilities in a way that helps you as you develop.

The flexibility that we offer ensures that you can move between agreements quickly and easily dependent upon your needs.

Our dedicated desks and private offices are perfect for those looking to have a workspace set up and ready to work.

As a dedicated desk member, you can enjoy the convenience of having everything you need to conduct business within reach – without having to lug it all home when you’re done working!

Not at all, our space operates on mutual respect. We fully encourage our members to take business phone calls and collaborate with each other. If you need some privacy for your call, we have the conference room the can be booked out by the hour. If you find you often need a private space to make calls then we would suggest going with the private office membership option.

 

Our reception hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and day passes are available during those hours only. Those holding active memberships with us get 24/7 access to the space.

2nd Edition is located on 2nd Avenue in Downtown Fernie and in easy walking distance of all of Fernie’s favorite eateries. Some options can be found here.

Dogs are permitted only in private offices and are not allowed to roam around unsupervised. Dogs must be leashed in common areas. If a dog is being disruptive, noisy or destructive in any way, 2nd Edition Coworking staff can ask the member to remove the dog from the space.

We accept day pass bookings two months in advance of your booking date. 

Yes, you can cancel your day pass or meeting room booking up to 48 hours before your booking date. Within the 48 hours you will be charged the full amount.
